Step 1: Prerequisite Check
In this step we will ask you questions related to the state of provisioning and configuration of both your Crunchtime and POS systems. To ensure a seamless kickoff to our engagement we need to confirm the following:
- If your organization has a test instance of Crunchtime, we will want to use that for our initial round of POS implmentation and testing. If you do have a test environment, we require that data in the system be no more than 3 months old to ensure that we are testing against the latest systems configurations, chart of accounts setup, recipe definitions, etc. .
- The menu definition in your POS systems must be completed in its entirety prior to the start of the engagement. This is necessary to ensure that all use cases related to menu items, modifiers, combos, etc. can be adequately tested as part of the engagement. .
- The recipe definitions in your Crunchtime environment must also be completed in its entirety prior to the engagement. This is necessary to ensure that all aspects of depletion can be adequately tested based on sales date synchronized from the POS. .
- Confirmation that PLUs match between Crunchtime and the POS, **OR ** confirmation that you have a proposed methodology for mapping these values between systems, is required to ensure that data can be correctly correlated in Crunchtime menu mix data.
If any of the above items have not yet been completed please do so before moving forward with the onboarding process.
